Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Disclaimer - The photo has been "processed" only to the extent of slight cropping, sharpening, a bit of saturation, dust spot removal and minimal contrast boost. There has been no burning/dodging to enhance the water - it is as it was when I captured the image. I've shared this photo and story with family & friends but was reluctant to put it out for public consumption. After several years I've finally decided it may help someone else.

In October of 2009 I took a much needed vacation. A week spent in relative solitude, hiking in the mountains and photographing the wonders of nature would normally have been a very reinvigorating experience however, in the year, or so, preceding this respite I had been feeling physically ill. I nearly decided to call it off but decided it may do me some good - little did I know it would literally save my life.

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, surrounded by the backdrop of cement, noise, lights and the hustle and bustle of the inner city. I eventually joined the United States Air Force. I retired after serving 26 years and settled in Hampton, Virginia. My love of photography spans decades and my subjects vary, but I always tend to gravitate more toward nature and wildlife. I’m definitely a detail-oriented person (to the chagrin of some) and I’m always looking to isolate my subject matter in an effort to display its “simple beauty”.
